January 26, 2017 in the framework of the 47th Scientific Conference “Improving the competitiveness and export potential of university education programs” was held a meeting of the section “The Global HUB of the UN Academic Impact program on Sustainability”, moderated by First Vice-Rector of the al-Farabi KazNU, Professor M.M. Burkitbayev. Reports and presentations were made by the Director of the UN Department of Public Information in Almaty Vlastimil Samek, a professor at Columbia University, USA, the director of the program MDP/ Sustainable Development Rafis Abazov, Head of the Department for Sustainable Development, UNESCO, Professor Roman Yaschenko, Director of the Department for International Relations of the University and Professors of “Turan University” Olga Sudibor and L. Kulumbetova, Director of the Center Hub UNAI on Sustainability of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Professor Galiya Ibrayeva and others. Representatives of more than 20 universities in the country, members of the program UN Academic impact productive exchange of ideas to promote the global goals of the United Nations development and revitalization UNAI consortium activities in Central Asia, the forms of participation of scientists in the International Exhibition EXPO-2017 in Astana.
