On September 2nd, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted the International Scientific Conference “Inverse Problems in Finance, Economics and Life Sciences”.

The conference was held jointly with Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University (Kazakhstan), the Research Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics (Kazakhstan), the Institute of Computational Mathematics and Mathematical Geophysics SB RAS (Russia), Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (PRC), Tianjin University of Finance and Economics (PRC), The Belt and Road project, supported by the State Administration for Foreign Experts (PRC) and the Key Laboratory of Contemporary Applied Mathematics in Shanghai (PRC).

It should be noted that such an event, demonstrating the integration of society, science and economics, is being held for the first time.

The conference was held with the aim of inviting world-famous scientists who are interested in the latest achievements in the development of modern numerical methods for solving inverse and incorrect problems in various directions, ready to share the results of their scientific work; as well as young specialists starting the path of a researcher, studying the problems of applied mathematics.

The International Scientific Conference was attended by over 90 scientists in the field of mathematics and mathematical modeling. Including: 10 scientists from Russian universities, 7 scientists from leading universities in China and 2 representatives from Kyrgyz universities, more than 60 scientists from leading Kazakhstan universities and research organizations. The conference heard interesting reports of the most promising areas in solving the inverse and incorrect tasks of economics, finance and life science.
