Al-Farabi KazNU as important partner of UN

The newly appointed UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres sent a letter to the rector of the Kazakh National University. In his letter he expresses gratitude to the Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Academician Galymkair Mutanov for his personal contribution to the fruitful cooperation of the University with the United Nations.
UN Secretary-General expressed his deep apprecitation to the Kazakh National University as an important partner in addressing the global challenges of our time. “I’m looking forward to start working together with you to build a solid foundation of the well-being of all mankind”, – said Guterres.

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University was recognized as the leader iin promoting UN initiatives aimed at tackling millennium challenges. The high assessment of the Secretary General Antonio Guterres of university role confirms an increasing reputation of Kazakhstan and its recognition of national university in international education arena.
