«TURKSOY» SCHOLARSHIPS AWARDING

As a Global Hub of the United Nations Academic Impact Program Al-Farabi KazNU held a ceremony for awarding scholarships of international organization «TURKSOY» to students of the university.

At the beginning of the event, Askar Turganbai, the representative of the organization in Kazakhstan welcomed the participants on behalf of the Secretary General of the TURKSOY International Organization Duysen Kaseinov. In his speech, Duysen Kaseinov highlighted that TURKSOY has been a reliable partner of Al-Farabi KazNU since 2015. This year, the organization allocated a scholarship to the best students of the Faculty of oriental sturies, the total amount of which is 1 million tenge.

It stands for the contribution to the development of historical and cultural continuity between the Turkic peoples in the era of globalization causing constant cooperation with the University.  This award is a special scholarship to stimulate students.
