It is no secret that due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the shift of educational institutions to distance learning, many users face problems when using a foreign video communication system. The Kazakhstani web-based videoconferencing application «Jinalys Room», developed by IT specialists from Al-Farabi KazNU, aims to solve this problem.

The new video conferencing service allows for online conferences, meetings, distance learning and includes recording and messaging functions as well as support for various API services for integration with corporate information systems.

One of the main goals of the application is to provide students and lecturers with a user-friendly video conferencing platform with an intuitive interface during their online training. It should be noted that the installation of the web application does not require any additional software and is possible on devices with minimal technical requirements, and data security is ensured by the possibility of installation on the University server infrastructure.
