Round table on the day of foundation of the UN

February 19, 2018 the United Nations Center for the Promotion of International Relations at the Faculty of Kazakh National University. Al-Farabi the UN Department of Public Information in the Republic of Kazakhstan held a round table discussion on “The Role of the UN in the modern world”, dedicated to the founding of the United Nations. After the event was organized a meeting with the first permanent representative of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the UN, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Kazakhstan Arystanbekova Akmaral Haydarovna with students of the Faculty of International Relations. The main purpose of the meeting Arystanbekova AH with students of the Faculty was particularly detailed introduction to the diplomatic activity.

Thus, talking about the work in the international arena the first permanent representative of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the United Nations aroused great interest among the student audience. During the conversation with the students, were such important aspects of international relations as tolerance, promoting patriotism and ability to adequately and effectively protect national interests in complex interdependent processes in world politics.

After the meeting at the initiative of AA Arystanbekova was held a unique exhibition of UN documents that reflect the activities of the organization since the foundation. This exhibition aroused great interest of the students.
