World Languages day

On september 25, at UN Regional Centre Professor Jan Sadlak, President of IREG observatory, visited our students and gave a very interesting lecture devoted to the celebration of the World Languages day. Though the official subject of his lecture was “Language as an instrument of inter-cultural communication”, besides the discussion on importance of languages, professor shared many unique episodes of his life, proving that knowing several languages is truly helpful in different situations. Thus, professor Jan Sadlak called on the students to learn as many foreign languages as possible, to develop their communication culture and to encourage children to learn languages from the young ages.
